  Dr. Whitten joined Caring for Families in 2005 after completing her residency in family practice at York Hospital in York,   Pennsylvania. She was elected chief resident by her peers and faculty. She received her medical degree from Marshall   University School of Medicine in West Virginia in 2002. She has established a reputation for being compassionate, thorough   and efficient. She lives in Gilbert with her spouse, and her bulldog, Gracie. Her hobbies include scuba diving, paddle   boarding, and golf.
